January 21, 2021

NYSERDA’s NextGen HVAC Innovation Challenge focuses on improving next generation Heating, Venting, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems. The innovation/entrepreneur community is challenged to develop systems that deliver on attributes, develop credibility of new companies and products with engagement of influential building sector stakeholders.

NYSERDA favorably reviewed MicroEra Power’s Concept Paper and invited a Full Proposal. If funded, the Integration of Multi-mode Thermal Energy Storage and Next Generation Commercial Heat Pump Systems for Stored Heat and Cooling proposal will generate up to a $1,750,00 project for the technology demonstration. This funding opportunity supports efficient building technologies and new business models for New York State.

This is a great opportunity to develop our momentum with THERMAplus™!
